^^==========  STARGATE SG1, by Kobayashi (Version 1.2)  ============
^
^^ Most mythology has its roots in Earth's distant past, when it was ruled
^^ by technologically advanced aliens who have since disappeared. They passed
^^ themselves off as dieties such Ra, Baal, the Devil and Cronus and built
^^ wonders such as the Pyramids, the Great Wall and even Atlantis.
^
^^ These Aliens, the Goa'uld, moved on to other planets seeding human
^^ populations throughout the galaxy and have long since forgotten about
^^ Earth. Unfortunately, events are about to unfold which will remind them
^^ of our existance and draw them back to Earth.
@options

+ == USE THE DOWN ARROW KEY FOR EASY SCROLLING ==
+
+ No, you need not have watched the TV series in order to play.
+
+ Play only at the hardest level and only as the Humans.
+
+ You win when the Goa'uld (both System Lords and Linvris) and
+ Replicators are wiped out. There won't be any victory message so
+ you'll have to decide when the game is over.
+
+ Your allies are the Rebels and the Asgard. However I wouldn't suggest
+ loitering around their planets to irritate them or you may find your
+ marraige of convenience arriving at an abrupt end.
+
+ As this is a quest-based game, there are various unique units (usually
+ marked with a question mark) you need to kill in order to obtain new
+ technologies which would otherwise be unavailable. Seven enemy cities
+ (marked as objective cities) also fulfill this function.
+
+ The vast majority of your objective units and cities belong to the AI
+ tribe called (the rest of the) Galaxy. You are technically at war with
+ them but when you kill their units you are merely 'interacting' with
+ them and when you conquer their cities, you are just 'liberating' them
+ or convincing them to join the anti-goa'uld crusade.
+
+ To summarize:
+ Red, Blue and Yellow are enemy colours - Kill on sight
+ Green and Grey are friendly colours
+
+ SPECIAL UNITS
+   ==============
+ SG-1 is your only hero unit and true to military tradition, it will
+ most likely be reformed each time after it is lost in action. However,
+ the 4 wonders made up of the original team members will expire upon
+ their first death so do not risk your SG-1 unit by doing foolish stuff
+ like attacking a planet without finding out what is defending it.
+
+ Nukes in this scenario are not real civ2 nukes. They are move one
+ missiles. Each needs constant attention and must either stay with
+ a stargate(airbase), city or end each move on top of SG1.
+
+ The Tok'ra Operative is a parajumping submarine unit. You can't
+ jump into open space, but you can jump onto planets NEXT to open
+ space and then move on into space. Upon jumping, any nukes with the
+ Tok'ra Operative will be carried with it.
+
+ The Trinium unit is a useless unit which you get free under some
+ circumstances. When a shipment is delivered, move it to the
+ desired base and disband it to build improvements or ships.
